hi, First you plug your iphone into your PC via the usb cable provided.
Reattach the i Phone and now it should recognize the device as a camera.
Note: If the above procedure does not helped in your case, then try restarting the service Method 2: Solve Through Device Manager Uninstall 3.I Googled about the problem and came to know this problem could be due to Mobile Device Driver service installed with apple i Tunes is not running or you might need to restart the service to make your iphone show up in windows explorer as driver. This is the crucial service which should be running when you connect your iphone to your computer to transfer pictures. In the "general" tab find the "startup type" drop-down arrow menu and make sure "automatic" is selected. Also see the general tab to check the "service status".First plug your i Phone into the PC using the USB cable. Failing all that if you have a camera recomded site, that should shoudl come up automatically to import you pictures. The transfer only works one way: i Phone to PC and not in reverse. I also have an i Phone 4s and am running Windows 7 on my laptop. If you'd rather copy photos manually using Windows Explorer then choose "advanced users only." Windows Vista: 1. Right click "My Computer" and select the device manager. If you see an Apple mobile device listed right click and uninstall the driver. Automatically it should come up with a box asking you wether you would like to view photos or import to PC.
